Alexandra
Cherot Dalle
Alexandra is a sanctuary designer, natural builder, clay muralist, facilitator, and writer devoted to creating spaces that nurture healing, connection, and transformation.
For over a decade, she has explored the intersection of natural building, geobiology, and intuitive design, guiding homemakers of the ancient future—those who cultivate their spaces with care and intention—toward crafting environments aligned with an embodied, holistic, and healthy way of living.
A Calling Rooted in Earth and Intuition
Her journey began with an innate sensitivity to space—how it holds, shapes, and influences well-being. From a young age, she was drawn to intentional living, natural materials, and handcrafted environments, sensing that homes could be more than shelters—they could be sanctuaries for healing, creativity, and deep connection.
This curiosity led her to mentor empowerment strategies for vulnerable women in northern India with Cross Cultural Solutions, witnessing firsthand how physical space and community could serve as catalysts for personal transformation. Back in Montreal, she co-founded an artist collective, creating an environment where creative expression and collaboration could thrive.
As she deepened her understanding of space and energy, she apprenticed in natural building at Cal-Earth Institute, studied geobiology with La Géosophie in Frelighsburg, and immersed herself in the craft of earthen construction with cré natural building and community living at Arcosanti.
Her journey took her into multiple intentional communities throughout the U.S., where she engaged in facilitation circles, refining her ability to guide transformative group experiences.
From Designer to Guide: Merging Craft & Facilitation
While Alexandra initially approached her work through hands-on craftsmanship, she quickly realized that her role extended beyond building—she was also a guide, empowering others to reclaim their agency in shaping intentional, nurturing spaces. She began facilitating workshops, introducing people to the world of conscious design choices, natural plasters, sound healing, and other ancestral living practices.
Her passion for inclusive facilitation was solidified during her time at the North America Jam, organized by the Yes! Organization, as well as stewarding True North retreat center in Hudson NY, where she experienced the power of deeply intentional and collaborative retreat spaces.
Since then, she has led workshops, immersions, and mentorship programs that help individuals and communities transition toward sustainable, harmonious ways of living.
Bringing Sanctuary to Life
In 2023, Alexandra’s calling to live a truly embodied life led her to found Sanctuarium, a retreat center in Sutton, Quebec—a living, breathing embodiment of the principles she teaches.
Here, she hosts sanctuary design immersions, natural plaster trainings, and personal development workshops, offering people the opportunity to experience the tactile magic of earth-based materials and holistic home creation.
That same year, she authored Harmonise Ton Sanctuaire, a guide for reimagining living spaces as sacred, regenerative environments that support well-being on every level. She is currently translating and preparing the book for publication, expanding its reach to a wider audience.
To take her vision even further, she developed
The Sanctuarium Way, an online course designed to help others craft homes infused with beauty, intention, and ecological wisdom. The course is structured into three categories:
HOME – Exploring sanctuary creation, natural homes, clay, and geobiology
SOMA – Delving into nutrition, detox, nervous system regulation, and somatic practices
ETHOS – Examining belief systems, community, philosophy, and spiritual hygiene
