Alexandra
Cherot Dalle
Alexandra approaches her role as a facilitator with a humble dedication, fostering nurturing and connection within retreat spaces. Since 2012, she has remained committed to empowering individuals through transformative group experiences.
Her journey began with a deep curiosity in the power of collectivity, mentoring empowerment strategies to vulnerable women in northern India with Cross Cultural Solutions and co-creating an artist collective studio in Montreal. Despite encountering personal challenges, including three nervous system burnouts in her twenties, Alexandra persevered, finding solace in wellness offerings and practices. She’s been leading her own wellness workshops since 2018. Living within intentional communities in the USA from 2019-2020, Alexandra actively engaged in facilitation circles, refining her craft with an eagerness to learn. It was during her time at the North America Jam, organized by the Yes! Organization, that she discovered the immense power of inclusive facilitation, leaving an indelible mark on her holistic approach. Her workshops delicately blend somatic practices, non-violent communication, mindfulness, and sound therapy.
In 2020, Alexandra embarked on a heartfelt journey to create Sanctuarium, a retreat center in Sutton, Quebec, which openned its doors in September 2023. This endeavour embodies her 18 year-old vision of providing a sanctuary for healing and personal transformation, always mindful of the transformative journeys of others. Continuing her own personal and professional growth, Alexandra attended Sister Stone's Earth Rooted Facilitator & Leadership training in 2021 and pursued somatic practitioner training with SOMA MYSTICA. In 2022, she achieved a Tambour Unité healing drum certification, and in 2023, she graduated from "L'Art de Faciliter" with Geneviève Locas from Kula Collective. Alexandra looks forward to completing her Somatic practitioner training before the end of the year, with a genuine passion to continue expanding her knowledge.
Alexandra's passion for healing and connection extends beyond the physical realm of Sanctuarium. Through her desire to reach out a further distance and connect no matter the circumstances, she has created an online platform that offers supportive containers and programs specifically designed to nurture the sanctuaries we inhabit, whether that is our environment OIKOS, our body SOMA, or our mindset ETHOS. From intimate 1:1 sessions to transformative group programs, online and in person, Alexandra provides accessible support for individuals seeking knowledge, empowerment, healing & connection. By combining the versatility of virtual spaces with her experience in sanctuary design and her holistic facilitation approach, she continues to foster empowerment, skill, healing & growth wherever her presence and guidance are needed.
